VERA CRUZ

Here we have Vera Cruz they are a covers band from Leigh, England. I got chance to catch these at The Old Market Tavern, Altrincham. Soon as these guys started they had everyone on their feet and rocking away. They played all the favourites Whitesnake 'Fool For Your Loving' this had the air guitars out. Dio 'Holy Diver' Great job on vocals from Waz Walmsley, seeing though he had a bad throat, the guy rocked on and gave a great performance. We also got some Velvet Revolver 'Slither' with some awesome finger work on Guitar from Paul Hudson. Then came some UFO 'Lights Out' on Bass we had Malc Blakemore. The highlight of the night was Judas Priest 'The Ripper' Waz Walmsley was on top form for this WoW. Then they hit us with a barrage of Thin Lizzy tracks. Banging the drum for Vera Cruz was Dave Carrol. Then for the final song of the night everybody's favorite Rock anthem by AC/DC 'Whole Lotta Rosie' What a night, What a Band. So if you get chance to catch these guys grab it, You won't be sorry.
