DAUTHA

Dautha are a Folk Doom band from Norrkoping, Sweden. They have released a six track Ep 'Brethren Of The Black Soil'. First up we have 'Hodie Mihi, Cras Tibi'( Today Me, Tomorrow You). The man with the voice, on Vocals is Lars Palmqvist. Then comes the Title track 'Brethren Of The Soil' Now this runs for over fifteen minutes and is just perfect, Really enjoyable piece of work. With the awesome Guitar work we have Erik Oquist and Ola Blomkvist. 'Maximinus Thrax' will have you chanting along. Then we come to the Epic 'The Children's Crusade' clocks in at eleven minutes. These guys sure know how to make there music. On Bass is Emil Astrom. Then we get 'In Between Two Floods' another classic tune. Beating the skins on Drums is Micael Zetterberg. The final track 'Dogbodies' is as Doom as your going to get. This is a great release.
