THE FORGOTTEN

The Forgotten are a Rock covers band from Doncaster/Rotherham, England. They have just played a set at The Cutlers Arms Rotherham. A nice friendly venue, Helpful staff and a great landlady. Not to be Forgotten the mighty fine Real Ales on offer. Now back to the Band. The Forgotten opened up with some Classic Thin Lizzy 'The Boys Are Back In Town' and 'Dancing In The Moonlight' With Alan Ryan on Guitar and Vocals. Then came The Rolling Stones 'Jumping Jack Flash' and 'Brown Sugar' on Drums we have Barry Watson, This guy must be the most lay back drummer i have seen. Class act and really nice guy. Then they throw a great bit of Posion at us with 'Every Rose' and 'Talk Dirty' Time for a little break and refuel of Real Ale. Medication taken and here comes UFO 'Doctor Doctor' followed by The Mighty Judas Priest 'Breaking The Law' and 'Living After Midnight' with some Status Quo chucked in 'Tie Your Mother Down'. Pulling the strings on Bass and Vocals we have Mick Holdcroft. Getting his kicks on 'Route 66' Coming to the end of their set and we get Some Awesome AC/DC 'Whole Lotta Rosie' and some more Quo with 'Paper Plane' a bit of Brian Adams 'Summer Of 69' on a very wet Sunday afternoon. Time for the last track of the day from The Forgotten with 'Smoke On The Water' If you want a enjoyable evening out and a bit of Rock in your life, Go see these guys.
