Dark Sacred Night are a Rock Band from Bolton, England. They recently released some demo tracks. I got chance to see the guys at a Acoustic night at The Cheetham Arms, Bolton. A beautiful little pub, as you walk in to where the Band was playing, It was like walking into a dream world. Amazing setting. Dark Scared Night Acoustic set was Dave Rowley on Vocals/Acoustic Guitar and Tony Hinkley on Electric Guitar. Bass Player Jude Rowley sat this one out, But was in attendance with a good crowd to show support. Now to some of the tracks and a few cover tracks, 'Travellin Man' it's a cool track, that had the crowd singing along. Then we get 'Dance Away Death' which had arms waving in the air. One of the cover tracks that was enjoyed that much they had to play it twice. Whitesnakes 'Here I Go Again' With Tony playing some Awesome Riffs. 'Chance' is a real foot tapper of a tune. Dave wrote a song quiet a few years back as a tribute to the late Great Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) 'Irish Gold' This is a Joy to hear, A few teary eyes in the crowd. Another great cover 'Diamonds and Rust' (Judas Priest) Amazing sound. Dave Rowley also wrote a tribute song in aid of Sophie Lancaster 'Sophie's World' Give this Song a listen and rise a glass. 'Black Country Heart' had the hands goin. 'Southside Of Aerosmith' another cool track. 'Nightingales and Morphine' this one will have you swaying. They finished the night with a great cover of the Neil Young Classic 'Keep On Rockin In The Free World' Awesome night.
