SEVEN HARD YEARS/7HY

Seven Hard Years are back with a new album 'For The Record'. This is their third release after 'No Place In Heaven' and Stories We Tell'. Seven Hard Years consist of Alan Kelly who plays all the instruments and on Vocals Shawn Pelata, also on Guitars is Danny Beardsley and Andrew Chick. Over the three albums they have had a little help with Claire Kelly playing Bass on one of the tracks on the first album 'No Place In Heaven', Elliot Kelly helping on Guitar over the three albums and Dave Martin (ex Marshall Law) Guitar on 'Stories We Tell'. Now back to the new release 'For The Record' we have twelve great tracks to enjoy and Rock out too. First up we have 'Be Who You Want' this has a great riff right the way through. 'Can't Let you Go' is a rocking tune, Drums Guitar and vocals are just there for you to join in with and boogie down and sing along. Yet again we are spoilt with the fine song writing and Instruments and unbelievable vocals. Like last time i reviewed 7HY thier is to many great tracks to name. 'I'm Gonna Be You' you won't be able to help yourself, but to join in and sing. 'Nothing Hurts Me Like You' they have released a lyrical video for this track,so be sure to give it a watch. 'We Can Be Strong' is a great little funky number. Andrew Chick also Produced the last two albums and what a job. These guys are amazing and the albums keep coming, As they are already working on a new release for 2018 and an Acoustic Ep. so let the Seven Hard Years continue.
